Mission

“Edukits Hawaiʻi aims to make a positive impact on education in Hawaiʻi by supporting teachers and the learning of 4th grade Title I students as well as visitors with our Place-based, STEAM resource kits”

About us

Our kits are carefully designed to align with Next Generation Science Standards and the Nā Hopena Aʻo framework, making them an invaluable tool for both students and teachers.

EduKits Hawaiʻi is a nonprofit transforming 4th-grade education in Hawaiʻi's Title I schools. Founded by a Hawaiʻi-born Department of Education teacher and Title I graduate, we provide innovative, place-based STEAM kits that make learning fun, engaging, and culturally relevant. Our kits align with Next Generation Science Standards and the Nā Hopena Aʻo framework, seamlessly integrating Hawaiian cultural perspectives with ecosystem studies.

Inspired by her own experiences as a student and teacher, our founder created EduKits to address the lack of hands-on, Hawaiʻi-focused educational resources. Our team's passion for culturally relevant teaching shines through in every kit, fostering student engagement, knowledge retention, and a deeper connection to Hawaiʻi's unique environment.

By supporting EduKits Hawaiʻi, you're investing in a model that boosts academic performance, promotes sustainability, and preserves Hawaiian cultural values for future generations. Join us in making education in Hawaiʻi more engaging, meaningful, and impactful – one kit at a time.
